1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Revisor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. Service Description
Revisor is an Atlassian Forge application that provides automated AI-powered code reviews for Bitbucket Cloud pull requests. The App:
- Reads pull request diffs from your Bitbucket repositories
- Sends diffs to a third-party AI provider selected and configured by you
- Posts review findings as inline comments on your pull requests
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- API key management: Providing and managing your own API key for your chosen AI provider. You are responsible for all usage charges incurred by your API key.
- Provider compliance: Ensuring your use of the App complies with the terms of service of your chosen AI provider.
- Code content: Ensuring that the code in your pull requests is lawful and that you have the right to process it through a third-party AI service.
- Workspace administration: Managing who has access to configure Revisor settings in your Bitbucket workspace.
4. Third-Party AI Providers
Revisor integrates with third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek, Alibaba Qwen). We do not control these services and are not responsible for:
- The quality, accuracy, or availability of AI-generated reviews
- How AI providers process, store, or use the data sent to them
- Changes to AI provider pricing, terms, or API availability
You should review and agree to your chosen AI provider's terms of service before configuring their API key in Revisor.
5. Trial Mode
New installations without a configured API key may receive a limited number of free AI reviews ("Trial Mode"). Trial Mode:
- Is provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time
- Is limited to 5 reviews or approximately 1.5 million tokens, whichever comes first
- Uses a specific AI model (Claude Haiku 4.5) that cannot be changed during the trial
- Is intended for evaluation purposes only
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
In particular:
- AI reviews may contain errors. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate code reviews, which may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. AI-generated reviews are not a substitute for human code review.
- No guarantee of availability. The App depends on Atlassian Forge infrastructure and third-party AI providers, any of which may experience downtime.
- No security guarantee. While Revisor aims to identify code issues, it does not guarantee that all bugs, security vulnerabilities, or quality issues will be found.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER OF REVISOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated reviews
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Charges incurred from third-party AI provider API usage
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer. The AI-generated review comments are provided for your use and do not transfer any intellectual property rights.
Your code remains your intellectual property. We do not claim any ownership over code processed through the App.
9. Termination
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Bitbucket workspace. We may suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Poland.
